Jiangsu releases GDP data of 13 cities in 2024Issuing time:2025-02-11 09:40 Jiangsu Province has released the 2024 GDP data for its 13 cities on Feb. 7, as the GDP of the province reached 13.7008 trillion yuan, growing by 5.8%. Suzhou recorded the highest GDP at 2.6727 trillion yuan, with a growth rate of 6.0%. Nanjing, the provincial capital, followed with 1.8501 trillion yuan and a growth rate of 4.5%. Other cities that reached 1 trillion yuan include Wuxi (1.6263 trillion yuan, 5.8%), Changzhou (1.0814 trillion yuan, 6.1%) and Nantong (1.2422 trillion yuan, 6.2%). Xuzhou reported a GDP of 953.7 billion yuan with a growth rate of 6.4%. Huai’an had the highest growth rate at 7.1%, with a GDP of 541.3 billion yuan. Lianyungang (466.3 billion yuan, 5.8%), Yancheng (777.9 billion yuan, 5.5%), Yangzhou (781 billion yuan, 6.0%), Zhenjiang (554 billion yuan, 5.9%), Taizhou (702.1 billion yuan, 5.1%), and Suqian (480.2 billion yuan, 6.9%) also reported their respective GDP figures and growth rates.
