Jiangsu releases GDP data of 13 cities in 2024

Jiangsu Province has released the 2024 GDP data for its 13 cities on Feb. 7, as the GDP of the province reached 13.7008 trillion yuan, growing by 5.8%.

Suzhou recorded the highest GDP at 2.6727 trillion yuan, with a growth rate of 6.0%. Nanjing, the provincial capital, followed with 1.8501 trillion yuan and a growth rate of 4.5%. Other cities that reached 1 trillion yuan include Wuxi (1.6263 trillion yuan, 5.8%), Changzhou (1.0814 trillion yuan, 6.1%) and Nantong (1.2422 trillion yuan, 6.2%).

Xuzhou reported a GDP of 953.7 billion yuan with a growth rate of 6.4%. Huai’an had the highest growth rate at 7.1%, with a GDP of 541.3 billion yuan.

Lianyungang (466.3 billion yuan, 5.8%), Yancheng (777.9 billion yuan, 5.5%), Yangzhou (781 billion yuan, 6.0%), Zhenjiang (554 billion yuan, 5.9%), Taizhou (702.1 billion yuan, 5.1%), and Suqian (480.2 billion yuan, 6.9%) also reported their respective GDP figures and growth rates.
