In an effort to actively achieve peak carbon and carbon neutrality, implement new development concepts, build a new development pattern, and promote high-quality development goals, as well as to address "carbon" trade barriers, the GLCICC has been established under JSIODA. This initiative is jointly led by the Nanjing Branch of China Electronic Port Data Center（NEPD）, China Certification and Inspection Group Jiangsu Co., Ltd.（CCIC Jiangsu）, and Southeast University Yangtze River Delta Carbon Neutrality Strategy Development Research Institute（SEU-CNSDRI）.

The GLCICC will collaborate with various social entities to jointly build a digital economy platform that serves the sustainable development of trading enterprises. It aims to enhance enterprises' awareness of carbon footprints, streamline the measurement, reporting, and certification processes of product carbon emissions, and ensure the confidentiality and security of carbon data. By doing so, the Committee will assist export-oriented enterprises in addressing international carbon barriers, alleviate their burdens, promote low-carbon transformation, and enhance the market competitiveness of their export products.
